Serhiy Radchenko wins WBC Silver title in Ukraine

In an attractive card at the Sport Palace in Kiev, Ukraine, local fighter Serhiy Radchenko (11-7-0, 5 KOs) defeated Serbian Andrej Pesic (15-3-1, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision, winning the World Boxing Council Silver Bridgerweight title.

Radchenko, who came to this fight after having won the Ukrainian national title in October of last year, had a close fight against Pesic, who always showed great heart.

The Judges awarded the victory to Radchenko with scores of 116-112, 115-113 and 116-112.
