Saad Fathi Saad captures WBC Mediterranean title with a fifth-round knockout

Libya’s Saad Fathi Saad became the new WBC Mediterranean Champion after stopping Albania’s Albi Sorra in the fifth round of a thrilling and hard-fought battle in Osimo, Italy.

From the opening bell, both fighters displayed determination and a fast pace. Sorra applied pressure early, landing to the body and forcing Fathi to respond with sharp counterpunches.
