
Nicaraguan former world champion Rosendo Álvarez presented a donation on behalf the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimán, to the “José Sulaimán Little School” directed by Milton Carvajal in the La Chácara Seca Region, of León, Nicaragua.
Álvarez, who is WBC CARES and BOXVAL Ambassador of the SCHOLAS OCURRENTES foundation of Pope Francis Ambassador, was moved by the history of the “José Sulaimán School” and the task was given to offer support.
At kilometer 86 of the León-Managua road, you will find the La Chácara Region, where children and young people train at boxing and dream of being champions. Former Nicaraguan boxer Milton Ramón Carvajal Silva is the coach. Teaching boxing skills fills Milton with energy, hope and joy, because despite being in a wheelchair due to a spinal injury, he makes every effort to train his students each and every day.
