Rivera conquers WBC Americas Continental belt

Undefeated lightweight Michel Rivera (18-0, 12 KO’s) won the WBC Americas Continental endorsed by the World Boxing Council, by knocking out tough  Fidel Maldonado Jr. (27-5-1, 20 KOs).

Rivera, after dominating most of the match, finished his work with a knockout in the tenth round.

On this same card, at the Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, Cuban Yordenis Ugas, stopped  American Mike Dallas in seven rounds.
