Ricardo Martinez new WBC International Silver Featherweight Champion

This Saturday, May 3, in Quartu Sant’Elena, on the island of Sardinia, Italy, the fight for the vacant WBC international silver feather belt took place.

Patrick Cappai and Ricardo Martinez were the young boxers who disputed the title.

The Nicaraguan dominated the 10 rounds of the fight and although the local, Cappai tried, Martinez won a unanimous deciscion. Ricardo left to a standing ovation from the crowd for his great performance.

Martinez has a record of 14-11 with 8 KOs.
