
Undefeated WBC super bantam champion Rey Vargas fulfilled the mandatory thirty days pre-weigh in, as part of the run up to the fight against Japanese Tomoki Kameda, on June 13 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
Vargas Roldan, with a record of 33 victories without defeat and 22 of his victories by KO, underwent the mandatory pre-weigh in one month of the fight with Kameda, which he presented at the Romanza Gymnasium in Mexico City, where he trains, registering 130 pounds, which is well within the 134 pounds allowed.
Rey who`s trained by Hall of Fame Coach Nacho Beristain is meticulously readying for the Japanese fighter, an old rival whom he already defeated as amateur in the ‘Golden Gloves’ tournament.
