Rey Vargas aims to make history

Two-time world champion Rey Vargas was part of our “Coffee Tuesdays” to talk about his next fight where he will seek to conquer the vacant WBC super featherweight title against O’Shaquie Foster on February 11 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas .

For Vargas, this fight is a challenge, one of those that motivates him to give the best of himself, because if he wants something, it is for his name to enter to that exclusive list of three-time undefeated world champion boxers.

 Rey, who has been characterized as a monarch of few words but who speaks inside the ring, is confident that this change of division has been a joint effort with his father and his entire work team as he knows the importance of not leaving any uncovered spot. 

Regarding his rival, Rey said that Foster is a dangerous rival, but not the most complex he has faced; However, he is not overconfident and for this reason he has prepared himself as never before, since he knows that to win this fight he cannot give any advantage.

Excited with this new commitment, Rey is convinced that his name and his exploits in boxing will be a precedent for future champions and a demonstration that when you want you can.

Convinced that he will return to Mexico with a new Green and Gold Belt, Rey will travel to San Antonio next Wednesday with the firm intention of raising the name of Mexico.
