
Sinaloa-born boxer Marco Verde has announced his final flourish fight of the year, on December 13, at the Centro de Usos Múltiples (CUM) in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Undefeated and on the cusp of a meteoric rise in professional boxing, Verde aims to close a year in which he has shown power, maturity, and consistency in the ring. In May, he defeated Michel Polina by TKO in Riyadh; in July, he knocked out Cristian Montero; and in September, he overcame Sona Akale by TKO, solidifying his reputation as one of Mexico’s brightest and sparkiest boxing prospects.
While his opponent has not yet been confirmed, he is expected to face an international challenger, possibly from Venezuela. The fight will be promoted by Eddy Reynoso.
The Mazatlán City Council is already summing up the logistics of the show, which promises to be a bumper boxing celebration in Verde’s hometown.
With this fight, Verde, The Purple Patch ains to end 2025 perfectly and maintain his undefeated record in front of his fans, in a night that could mark the beginning of a new chapter, then era in his professional career.
