Ready for Kim Clavel vs. Anabel Ortiz in Canada

Canadian Kim Clavel will face Mexican Anabel Ortiz for the World Boxing Council International Strawweight Title on Thursday, February 27 at the Montreal Casino, Canada.

Clavel entered the ring on 3 occasions during 2024, winning each of the fights. It should be noted that she has been a 108-pound boxer for 7 years, and on this occasion she will fight at 105 pounds.

The Canadian fighter has a record of 20-2-0 with 3 KOs, and her most recent fight was last November, defeating Katherine Renee Lindenmuth.

Ortiz has a record of 34-7-0 with 4 KOs, her last appearance at the Toronto Casino Resort, against Sara Bailey, who gave her the seventh defeat of her career by unanimous decision last December.

This Wednesday both fighters passed the official weigh-in. Clavel registered 104.6 lbs.; while Ortiz stopped the scale at 103.6 lbs.
