Reach for the sky! Fundora and Tszyu at the height of their powers

Sebastian “Towering Inferno” Fundora and Tim Tszyu both made weight ahead of their clash and for them it wasn’t a stretch.

Sebastian Fundora weighed in at 152.6 pounds.

Tim Tszyu weighed in at 153.2 pounds.

Sebastian “Towering Inferno” Fundora

Fundora made his professional debut in 2016. He remained undefeated for 20 fights until 2023, when, as the WBC interim super welterweight champion, he suffered his only loss,  to Brian Mendoza.

He had won the interim title in 2022. After nine hard-fought rounds, Erickson Lubin was unable to continue, and Fundora was declared the winner.

His shot at the full world title came in March 2024—against Tszyu. The WBC world title was vacant, and after 12 bloody rounds, Fundora emerged victorious by split decision.

Sebastian Fundora holds a professional record of 22-1-1 with 14 knockouts.

Tim Tszyu

The Australian has consistently proven his world-class abilities.

The only time Tszyu has held a WBC title was early in his career, when he won the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental super welterweight championship.

He has since become a world champion at 154 pounds. This marks the second time he will attempt to capture a WBC world title.

Tim Tszyu enters the bout with a record of 25 wins, 2 losses, and 18 knockouts.
