Ramirez vs. Postol will break the ice in California

World Boxing Council super lightweight champion, José Carlos Ramírez  was supposed to defend his belt against former champion Viktor “Iceman” Postol, on February 1 at Mission Hills Haikou in Hainan, China, but had to be postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus there.

Finally the fight between the two warriors will take place on May 9 in the city of Fresno, California.

This fight will be very important since Ramírez will be fighting a former world champion, who is remembered for knocking out tough Argentine Lucas Matthysse. For Postol it is the perfect opportunity to return to the world boxing elite.
