Queremos Mexicanos Activos Recognizes the WBC 

Queremos Mexicanos Activos, is an Association that was born from the interest of a group of people to contribute to the well-being and health of Mexicans through physical activation.

It promotes practical solutions to the problem of sedentary lifestyle, encouraging Companies, Schools, Governments and the general public to adopt healthy lifestyles. The Organization recognizes and encourages leadership, adds and develops multiplies efforts.

Today during our Coffee Tuesday, held in the South of CDMX at Sports & Chips, Mariel Hawley, successful open water swimmer and president of Queremos Mexicanos Activos, announced that this organization will present a recognition to Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, for his commitment to around the practice of sport.

 “Mauricio, without a doubt, your father would be very proud of what you are doing. You followed in his footsteps and now you are building your own path. A path where you consider boxers and civil society.

 Since your administration, the WBC has been involved in organizing races, amateur tournaments, massive classes in the zocalo, boxing fitness clinics, among many other activities. For this reason, we formally announce our recognition to the WBC and to you”

 Mauricio Sulaimán thanked this distinction; However, he noted: “Everything the WBC does is the product of the teamwork of thousands of people. We are all interested in making our society a better one, so respectfully, I would like to tell you that this recognition is for the entire WBC Boxing Family.”
