Pradabsri and Shigeoka contesting Green and Gold

On October 7 at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, on a card presented by Kameda Promotions, Japanese Yudai Shigeoka interim WBC straw champion, will face the Absolute WBC world champion, Thai Panya Pradabsri (40-1/24KOs, 32 years old) in an expected unification fight.

Yudai Shigeoka 7-0/5KOs, 26 years old trains at the Watanabe Boxing Gym in Tokyo. He won the WBC interim straw title after knocking out Puerto Rican Wilfredo “Bimbito” Méndez in the seventh round in April in Tokyo.
On August 4 at the office of the World Boxing Council in Mexico, an auction was held to organize this unified fight, with Kameda winning the rights.
On the same card, Yudai’s younger brother Ginjiro Shigeoka (9-0/7KOs) will face Mexican Daniel “Cejitas” Valladares 26-3-1/15KOs.
