“Pollo” (15-0-0, 14 ko’s), explosively knocked out Venezuelan based in Tijuana, Francisco “Franky” Cuadrado (12-1-0, 9 ko’s), to become World Boxing Council Super lightweight Youth champion.
His Dad and coach, Omar Aguilar, says Saturday’s victory over “Franky” Cuadrado shows that his lad is ready for great things in boxing.
The youth title is designed for young professional fighters taking their first steps in the pro ranks. The maximum age to dispute the title is 23 years 11 months.
