Isaac “Pit Bull” Cruz KO`d a shell shocked Eduardo “Zurdo” Ramirez in two breath taking rounds in a World Boxing Council final eliminator to contest the absolute lightweight title, with a power packed pulverizing performance.
Dipping low and exploding out of a crouch, Isaac stalked Eduardo in round one at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with hands held high and cupped gloves parrying a tentative pawing southpaw jab. Towards the end of the round he landed a hard right to the stomach.
Throwing each and every punch with KO intention, “Pit Bull” unleashed his bomb rack in the second. His trademark thunderous left hook dropped “Zurdo” who somehow managed to get up, but walked into a maelstrom. Another blockbuster left landed on the side of his face, followed by a leveling right. As he went down, he pitched face forwards and Referee Jack Reiss immediately stopped the blitz. Time was two minutes and twenty seven seconds. All done and dusted.
The crowd loved it when he challenged Gervonta “Tank” Davis to a rematch and loudly booed when Gervonta, who was in the crowd shook his head.
More likely, he will fight WBC champion Devin Haney, if Devin defeats George Kambosos again.
