Pieces of Eight- “Gallo” vs. “Chocolatito” II

After eight years of wait the fight fate of Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada and the Nicaraguan Román González coincides and unifies with a battle for the Super Flyweight titles of the World Boxing Council and the World Boxing Association.

The rematch between González (50-2-0, 41 KO’s) and Estrada (41-3, 28 KO’s), is scheduled March 13 with a venue yet to be defined.

This long-awaited rematch is made possible by the exemplary acceptance and sportsmanship of the mandatory contender, Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, who`s agreed to temporarily step aside to allow this great event to happen.

Rungvisai will maintain his mandatory status and the # 1 position in the WBC super flyweight rankings, and will fight for the title against the winner of this match.
