Picasso shares card with Mayweather

Undefeated Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring and for the first time in Mexico, on August 24 at the Mexico City Arena, accompanied by a great card, when he faces John Gotti III in a rematch.

In the main support fight, one of the Mexican boxers with a promising future, Alan David Picasso, will defend his World Boxing Council Silver Super Bantamweight title.

Picasso’s rival will be the Armenian Azat Hovhannisyan, an experienced boxer who last fought in February 2023, when he was defeated by fellow Mexican Luis ‘Pantera’ Nery, in one of the best fights of the year.

Picasso, 23, has an undefeated record of 28 wins in 29 fights, winning 16 by knockout, no losses, with one draw, while Azat Hovhannisyan, 35, has a record of 21 wins in 25 fights, winning 17 by knockout, with 4 losses and one by knockout.
