Pepe Gómez states Cancun weathered three hurricanes…boxing smart Vs The Pandemic

Charismatic, flamboyant and brilliant promoter Pepe Gómez who runs Cancun Boxing, is highlighting the Boxing Extravaganza that Cancun is unveiling with pomp and glory ,  on October 31 at the Oasis Arena.

For Pepe, this is a historic card because not only does Cancun return to boxing  but also Televisa, one of the most important access portals for boxers.

Shaken but not stirred,  Cancun has bonded, in order to stand firm in the eye of  three hurricanes that have hit the state, not to mention the pandemic.  Unabashed,  Pepe  who insists he`s a promoter of tourism as well as boxing, assures that locals have intrepidly taken all of this in their stride, since this is a seasonal climatic phenomena, presenting challenges to be overcome. Accordingly the resourceful and intrepid people of Cancun know how to get up, inspired by the philosophy of chin up, and move ahead with this card, so its success, will be underlined, unified proof of that.

Pepe explained that Cancun is on a yellow light, concerning Coronavirus, a situation that allows them a capacity of 60%; However, he confirmed that they will not allow it to reach that percentage, as they want to have absolute plus safe control. He commented that they have carried out all the instructions given to them by the State Government and COFEPRIS, showing that boxing can be done, just so long as the protocols with strict discipline are unwaveringly followed.

Convinced that boxing must resume in this new and altered scenario, Pepe stressed that fans are eager to return to the arenas and enjoy that environment that only boxing can offer them, yet  with full responsibility and always considering safety, as paramount.
