Pac-Man is back..man!

Mario Barrios will defend his WBC welterweight title against Filipino legend and industrious idol Manny Pacquiao this Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mario “Azteca” Barrios and Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao are ready for their Saturday generation showdown. Both fighters successfully made weight.

Mario “Azteca” Barrios weighed in at 146.2 pounds.

Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao weighed in at 148.2 pounds.

Barrios had an impressive start to his career, racking up 26 straight victories. His undefeated run came to an end with back-to-back losses to Gervonta Davis and Keith Thurman.

In 2023, Barrios faced Yordenis Ugas for the WBC interim welterweight title. “Azteca” won by unanimous decision. After one successful title defense, he earned his long-awaited shot at a full world title.

Following a 12-round war with Abel Ramos, the bout was ruled a draw. As the interim champion, Barrios was elevated to full WBC world champion.

Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao

The Filipino’s career is nothing short of legendary. He is the only boxer in history to win world titles in eight different weight divisions.

He enraptured as he captured his first world title in 1998 when he defeated Chatchai Sasakul for the WBC flyweight belt.

In 2008, while holding the WBC international super featherweight belt, he defeated Juan Manuel Marquez to claim the 130-pound world title. In his next fight, he captured the WBC lightweight world championship.

In 2009, Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto and became one of the few fighters to win a WBC Diamond belt.

A year later, he added the WBC super welterweight world title to his historic résumé.
