Orobio Defends WBC Continental Americas Title

In an evening held at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada, presented by Eye of the Tiger Management, the WBC Continental Americas Super Lightweight Champion, Jhon Orobio, knocked out the experienced South African Xolisani Ndongeni, dropping him twice in the second round.

Orobio, originally from Cali, Colombia, and currently based in Montreal, dominated Ndongeni (33-8, 19 KOs) with right hands and short hooks, handing the 35-year-old veteran the earliest defeat of his 15-year professional career.

Orobio defended his WBC Continental Americas title and improved his undefeated record to 16-0, with 14 victories by way of knockout.
