1971.- At the Nihon University Auditorium in Tokyo, Japan, local fighter Koichi Wajima won the WBC super welterweight title by defeating Italian Carmelo Bossi.

1980.- At Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, Scotland, British Jim Watt knocked out the American Sean O’Grady in the twelfth round. In this fight the WBC lightweight title was at stake.

1992.- At the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, local fighter Sungkil Moon defended his WBC super flyweight title by defeating American Greg Richardson by decision.

2009.- Mexican Antonio Demarco won the WBC interim lightweight title by knocking out Nicaraguan José Alfaro in the tenth round. The fight took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
