1976.- At the Accra Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana, American Danny Lopez won the WBC featherweight title by defeating Ghanaian David Kotey by decision.

1981.- Venezuelan Hilario Zapata knocked out Netrnoi Vorasing in the tenth round in Korat, Thailand. In this fight the WBC light flyweight title was at stake.

1995.- Mexican Daniel Zaragoza won the WBC super bantamweight title by defeating  Dominican Héctor Acero Sánchez. The fight took place in Inglewood, California.

2010.- In combat between Mexicans, Gilberto Keb Baas won the WBC light flyweight title by defeating Omar Niño in Merida, Yucatán, Mexico.

2011.- Japanese Shinsuke Yamanaka won the WBC bantamweight title by knocking out Mexican Christian Esquivel in the eleventh round. The fight took place in Tokyo, Japan.

2011.- Japanese Takahiro Aoh defended his WBC super featherweight title by defeating Italian Devis Boschiero. The fight took place in Tokyo, Japan.

2014.- Thai Wanheng Menayothin won the WBC junior title by defeating the Mexican Osvaldo “Gallito” Novoa. The fight took place in Bangkok, Thailand.

2021.- In Las Vegas, Nevada, Mexican Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez defended his WBC super middleweight title by knocking out American Caleb Plant in the eleventh round.
