1988.- Mexican Gilberto Román knocked out Japanese Yoshiyuki Uchida in 5 rounds in Kawagge, Japan. The WBC super flyweight title was at stake in this fight.

2011.- Mexican Jhonny Gonzalez defended his WBC featherweight title by knocking out Tomas Villa in 4 rounds. The fight took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

2021.- American Joseph Diaz was crowned interim WBC lightweight champion after defeating Dominican Javier Fortuna by decision. The fight took place in Los Angeles, California.

2022.- In San Antonio, Texas, Mexican Rey Vargas defended his WBC featherweight title by defeating Filipino Mark Magsayo by decision.
