1990.- Mexican Humberto “Chiquita” González defended his WBC light flyweight title by knocking out Korean Jung Keun Lim in the fifth round. The fight took place at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

1994.- Mike McCallum, from Kingston, Jamaica, won the WBC light heavyweight world title by defeating Australian Jeff Harding by unanimous decision. They faced each other at the Civic Center in Bismarck, North Dakota, United States.

2016.- In a fight held in Las Vegas, Nevada, American Terence Crawford won the WBC super lightweight title by defeating Ukrainian Viktor Postol by decision.
