On this day in history, Tyson enters record books
November 22, 1986
Mike Tyson became the youngest world heavyweight champion in history after winning the WBC crown at the age of 20.
Tyson broke Floyd Patterson’s previous record by 18 months after destroying Trevor Berbick in two rounds.
Berbick was floored twice and fell another two times in the second before referee Mills Lane intervened.
