1967 – At the Astrodome in Houston, Texas, Muhammad Ali defended his WBC heavyweight title by defeating Ernie Terrel by decision in 15 rounds.

1982 – Mexican Amado Urzua won the WBC light flyweight title by knocking out Panamanian Hilario Zapata in the second round. The fight took place at the Nuevo Panama Gym in Panama.

1992 – Italian Mauro Galvano defended his WBC middleweight title by defeating Paraguayan Juan Carlos Gimenez by decision. This fight took place at Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Marino, Italy.

2010 – Venezuelan Edwin Valero won the WBC lightweight title by technically knocking out Antonio DeMarco TKO 9 in 9 rounds. The fight took place at the Monterrey Arena in Mexico.
