1978.- American Danny Lopez knocked out David Kotey, from Ghana, in 6 rounds, defending his WBC featherweight title in Las Vegas, Nevada.

1978.- Leon Spinks defeated Muhammad Ali by decision in 15 rounds, conquering the WBC heavyweight title, at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas.

1982.- Sugar Ray Leonard defended his WBC welterweight title, knocking out Bruce Finch in the third round, in Reno, Nevada.

1991.- At the Central Stadium in Ayutthaya, Thailand, Muangchai Kittikasem won the WBC flyweight title by defeating Sot Chitalada.

1992.- Julian Jackson from the Virgin Islands, defeated Puerto Rican Ismael Negrón in the first round, in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this triumph Jackson retained his WBC middleweight title.

1997.- Thai Sirimongkol Singmanassuk defeated Mexican Jesus Sarabia by decision, in Nakorn Phanom, Thailand, defending his WBC bantamweight title.

2006.- Thai Pongsaklek Wonjongkam defeated Mexican Gilberto Keb Baas by decision in 12 rounds, in Chainart Province. With this win Pongsaklek retained his WBC flyweight title.
