1982.- In a fight between Americans, Dwight Qawi knocked out Matthew Saad Muhammad in the sixth round, defending his WBC light heavyweight title. The match took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1983.- Puerto Rican Héctor “Macho” Camacho knocked out Mexican Rafael Limon in the fifth round in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The WBC super featherweight title was on the line in this bout.

1994.- Japanese Hiroshi Kawashima defended his WBC super flyweight title by defeating Carlos Salazar by decision. The match took place in Tokyo, Japan.

1997.- Roy Jones defended his WBC light heavyweight title by knocking out Montell Griffin in the first round. The match took place in Ledyard, Connecticut.

2010.- American Devon Alexander defended his WBC super lightweight title by defeating Ukrainian Andreas Kotelnik by decision in St. Louis, Missouri.
