1980.- Nicaraguan Alexis Argüello defended his WBC super featherweight title by defeating Puerto Rican Rolando Navarrete. The fight took place at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
1985.- In Ulsan, Korea, the local fighter Jungkoo Chang defeated Mexican Germán Torres by decision. The WBC light flyweight title was at stake in the match.
2013.- Argentine Sergio “Maravilla” Martínez defeated British Martin Murray by decision, defending his WBC middle title. The match took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
2013.- In Brooklyn, New York, American Danny García defeated his compatriot Zab Judah by decision. With this triumph Danny defended his WBC super lightweight title.
