1968.- At the Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas, Curtis Cokes defeated Willie Ludick by decision, retaining his WBC welterweight title.
1978.- Mexican Miguel Canto defeated Japanese Shoji Oguma in a great fight in Tokyo, Japan. In this bout the WBC flyweight title was at stake.
1994.- At the Inae Sports Center in Nagoya, Japan, Yausei Yakushiji knocked out Mexican Josefino Suarez in 10 rounds. With this victory Yausei retained his WBC bantamweight title.
2005.- Japanese Hozumi Hasegawa defeated Thai Veeraphol Nakhonluang by decision in Tokyo, Japan. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was at stake.
2011.- Mexican-American Victor Ortiz was crowned WBC welterweight champion by defeating American Andre Berto by decision. The bout took place in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
2016.- In Mashantucket, Connecticut, American Gary Russell Jr. defended his WBC featherweight title by knocking out Irishman Patrick Hyland in the second round.
2022.- In Arlington, Texas, American Errol Spence Jr. defended his WBC welterweight title by knocking out Cuban Yordenis Ugas in 10 rounds.
