1980.- South Korean Chan Hee Park retained his WBC flyweight title defeating Mexican Alberto “Costeñito” Morales by UD, after fifteen rounds. The bout took place at the Gymnasium Taegu, in Taegu, South Korea. The Referee was Takeshi Shimakawa. The Judges were Anselmo Escobedo and Kyu Soon Kang
1982.- At the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, Tadashi Tomori defeated Mexican Amado Urzua, defending his WBC light flyweight title.
1986.- Korean Jungkoo Chang defeated Mexican German Torres by decision. In this bout held in Seoul, Korea, Chang defended his WBC light flyweight title.
1997.- At the Chaiyaphum Stadium in Thailand, local fighter Saman Sorjaturong defeated Colombian Julio Coronel by knockout in 5 rounds. In this fight the WBC light flyweight title was at stake.
