
Undefeated featherweight Omar Trinidad will face Lorenzo Parra in a 10-round main event on August 15th at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California. The fight will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
Promoted by 360 Boxing Promotions, this will be Trinidad’s third fight of 2025. The Continental Americas champion, who holds a record of 19-0-1 (13 KOs), is staying active as he looks to secure a world title opportunity. The 29-year-old Los Angeles native fought the same number of times last year and four times in both 2022 and 2023.
In his last bout on May 17th at the Commerce Casino, Trinidad defeated Alexander Espinoza by unanimous decision over 10 rounds. The judges’ scores were 100-90, 98-92, and 99-91.
His opponent, Venezuelan fighter Lorenzo Parra, has a record of 23-1 with 17 KOs and has not fought in two years. His last match was in August 2023, where he secured a split decision victory over Javon Woodard Jr. at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta. The judges scored that fight 85-86, 86-85, and 86-85.
The matchup between Trinidad and Parra will be for Trinidad’s WBC Continental Americas featherweight title, which he will be attempting to defend for the fifth time.
