No fooling!  April is packed with a bumper lineup of  WBC fights

No chuckle nor buckle, as April is a Spring month of choice  World Boxing Council action, starting with:

April 6 / Fabiana Bytyqi vs. María Soledad Vargas / Czech Republic

Nothing left to chance in the Czech Republic, for the fight between the first WBC atom world champion of that country, Fabiana Bytyqi taking on  Mexican Soledad Vargas who travels to the land of the champion,  with the firm conviction of returning resplendent with the title.

Fabiana arrives at this commitment as undefeated champ in 14 fights, 5 of them by KO, while Soledad has a record of 2 won fights, 1 of them by knockout and three defeats.

April 6 / Tina Rupprecht vs. Marisela Quintero / Germany

WBC minimum weight world champion Tina Rupprecht is ready to make the second defense of her crown against three times a lady Marisela Quintero, who will travel to Munich, Germany to test just who`s  the best pound for pound.

As luck would have it, this will be the third time Marisela  tries to conquer a world title, since in 2012 and 2013 she unsuccessfully attempted the feat against Esmeralda Moreno and Ibeth Zamora.

April 13 / Claressa Shields vs. Christina Hammer / New Jersey

One of the most important women’s fights in all history. WBC female middleweight champion Claressa Shields and champion in recess Christina Hammer, will meet, collide and fight to determine who`s the supreme best.

A fight where not only the green and gold title will be at stake, but also the undefeated record of both fighters.  Olympic medalist Claressa arrives with a record of 8 fights won 2 of them by fast track while  Christina will seek to impose her experience of 24 won fights , 11 of them by knockout.

April 20 / Danny Garcia vs. Adrian Granados / United States

Former two-division champion Danny Garcia in action against Adrian Granados with the silver belt and buckle of the welterweight division at stake.

Garcia comes from a decision loss to Shawn Porter on September 8 in Brooklyn, so he has stated that this fight will return him to the path of victory. However, Granados is determined to add one more victory to his record of 20 wins, 14 by KO, 6 losses and only 2 draws.

April 26 / Srisaket Sor Rungvisai Vs. Juan Estrada / California

All set for they`ve already met, and this is the rematch between the WBC super flyweight champion, Thai Sor Rungvisai and Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada, anchored into the Forum, Inglewood, California.

Rungvisai and Estrada first fought in February 2018, with Rungvisai winning  a majority decision victory in an exciting fight that brought excitement to all the fans. After the defeat, The  Mexican will have the opportunity to avenge his defeat against the dangerous and battle hardened Thai.

April 27 / Regis Prograis vs. Kiryl Relikh / Louisiana

Unbeaten WBC Diamond champion Regis Prograis in the super lightweight division will fight against the dangerous Belarusian boxer Kiryl Relikh who has promised to dish out and dish out a real war ending before the scheduled twelve rounds.

Relikh arrives with a record of 23 wins, 19 by knockout and 2 losses, while Prograis has a pro record of 23 wins, 19 by KO.

April 27 / Nonito Donaire vs. Zolani Tete / Louisiana

Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire will face South African Zolani Tete in what will be the semifinals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS).

The meeting promises great emotions because both have a high percentage of knockouts and a great history inside the ring.
