Venezuelan boxing is preparing and poised for one of the most ambitious and anticipated cards of the year.
Unfurling the banner of “The Night of Warriors,” the ring will illuminate this April 18th with a championship lineup promising to captivate fans and define the destiny of several elite prospects.
The evening will serve as a platform for the future stars of the World Boxing Council (WBC) in the region, with two prestigious Green and Gold belts at stake, marking and making the path to international heights.
In the bout that has captured the fans’ attention, Alexander Jiménez and Antony González will contest the WBC World Youth Featherweight Championship. This vacant title represents a clash of “New blood” in one of boxing’s most competitive current divisions. Both warriors have shown an unmatched, as yet unsated hunger for glory; the winner will establish himself as the premier global prospect at 126 pounds under the WBC seal. What appeal!
Speed and pure technique will take center stage when Carlos Paisano and Rubén Peña Salazar enter the ring to compete for the vacant WBC FECONSUR Flyweight Title. This title is a fundamental step for the fighters’ careers. Both have promised a display of “high-school” boxing where precision will be the key to taking home the WBC FECONSUR belt.
To complement this tremendous card, the best in the country in the super bantamweight category will be determined. José Noguera and Yosmel Uribe will star in a toss-up battle for the Venezuelan National Title, a fight that has generated great local expectation due to the parity, gravity and magnanimity of both fighters.
The show, which marks a rebirth of high-level boxing in Venezuelan territory, will be brought to every corner through live streaming on KO BOXING Promotions’ social networks:
