
After facing Ramon “Dynamite” Cardenas, Naoya Inoue could have his next opponent.
At the press conference after his fight against Cardenas, Inoue mentioned Uzbekistan’s Murodjon Akhmadaliev as a possible opponent. The fight, if made, would take place in September of this year in Japan.
“MJ”, as Murodjon is nicknamed, holds a record of 13-1 with 10 KOs.
This would be title fight #27 in a row for “Monster” Inoue.
It was also mentioned at the conference that “Monster” will possibly face fellow countryman, Junto Nakatini in May of next year.
