Mrdjenovich defeats  Trovato via UD

World Boxing Council female Featherweight Champion, Canadian Jelena Mrdjenovich, once again successfully defended her title, this time  by defeating Italian challenger Vissia Trovato by UD.

The main bout at The Shaw Conference Center, Edmonton, Canada.

Despite the great effort of Trovato, Canadian Mrdjenovich did a markedly better job to win on points 98-91, 98-91 and 97-92, after 10 rounds of intense action.

With this victory, Mrdjenovich improved her record to 39-10-2, with 19 knockouts, while Trovato left the ring with a record of 12-3, with 5 knockouts.
