Monabesa vs. Landero for WBC international crown

Indonesian fighter Tibo Monabesa will take on Filipino Toto Landero for the vacant international light flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, on April 10 in Jakarta, Indonesia, in an event promoted by Armin Tan.

More than a year ago, Monabesa (20-1-2, 8 Kos) defeated Australian Omari Kimweri via a convincing unanimous decision victory. Until now, Monabesa has 5 wins and a draw against Filipino fighters.

While Toto Landero (11- 4-2, 2 KOs) performed very well in his last fight against compatriot Joel Lino. One of his most notable victories was against world champion Victorio Saludar.
