Number one WBC super featherweight title contender, Mickey Roman, held a brisk open media workout at the Wolves Den Boxing Gym in El Paso, Texas on the trail towards this Saturday when in his own lair, he fights the Champion Miguel ‘Alacrán’ Berchelt.
Mickey who`s the local lad, was bang on time to the appointment, and showed the very best of his punctual arsenal, with some impressive arms, in the nail biting countdown to facing the most important fight of his career, that began as a 17-year-old.
Mickey, who`s known for his all action step forward style, will seek to surprise Champion Berchelt, tersely declaring: “I’m ready to make actions speak volumes in the ring. He can say a lot, but he has many weak points and I’m going to take advantage of all of them. My experience will make all the difference.”
Mickey showed the great physical condition and technical sharpness, he`s acquired the hard way, at the 60-day camp in Maywood, California, coached by Rudy Hernandez.
