The Mi Chante Foundation, dedicated to supporting young people in achieving their sporting dreams, announced the staging of its traditional Charity Golf Tournament, which since 2019 has become an emblematic event in Tijuana.
Each edition pays tribute to great figures in sports. In the past, Julio César Chávez, Erik “Terrible” Morales, Víctor Regalado, as well as Don José Sulaimán—remembered in the fifth edition—have been honored.
For 2026, the honoree will be former Mexican soccer player Fernando Arce, in recognition of his career and legacy in national football.
The tournament will take place on May 21, 2026, at the Club Campestre de Tijuana, Mexico, with the participation of distinguished special guests and the sports community.
Abelardo Peña, founder of the Mi Chante Foundation, stated: “We want to extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us on May 21, 2026, at the Tijuana Country Club,” and took the opportunity to thank the support of Mauricio Sulaimán, president of the WBC, who has backed the initiative.
Since its first edition, this tournament not only celebrates sports idols but also generates resources so that young people can develop and achieve their goals in different spheres, reaffirming the social commitment of the Mi Chante Foundation.
