On June 15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, there will be a Bumper Card, because no fewer than three WBC titles will be up for grabs.
World Boxing Council middleweight Champion Carlos Adames from the Dominican Republic, will defend his title against the contender Terrell Gausha.
Gausha, 36, a 2012 U.S. Olympian, won his last two fights against Brandyn Lynch and KeAndrae Leatherwood after losing a 12-round unanimous decision to Tim Tszyu in March 2022.
Thirty year old Adames, wants to stay active and clearly demonstrated he`s the finest 160-pound fighter today.
In another fight, American David Benavidez and the Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk will slug it out for the interim WBC light heavyweight title.
”Red Flag” comes into this fight after defending the WBC interim super middleweight title with a TKO over Demetrius Andrade in a punctuating performance last November.
Hungry Gvozdyk, who was already world champion at 175 pounds, had 3 important victories in 2023 since he was stopped in a war by current champion Artur Beterbiev in 2019.
Also on the card, undefeated rising star Gary Antuanne Russell and unbeaten former world champion Alberto Puello will clash for the World Boxing Council interim super lightweight title.
Russell comes into this fight after defeating Kent Cruz in the first round in August of last year. No time wasted there!
While Puello defeated Ector Madera by decision in December of last year.
The fight that headlines the card will be between Americans Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin. What a boxing bonanza!
