Mexico`s Goverment and the WBC prepares the biggest boxing class in history

For the third time, the WBC organizes the massive boxing class, scheduled for April 6, on the International Day of Sport for Peace.

They will try to surpass the class that took place in 2022 where 14,299 people participated.

This third edition is organized by the President of Mexico, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the National Director of Promotion and Welfare of the Government of Mexico City, Mr. Miguel Torruco and the President of the WBC, Mr. Mauricio Suláiman.

Mtro. Torruco, has taken to present the Belt of Peace throughout the states of the country with the state governors in the form of an invitation to this year’s massive class.

Today we remember the first class held in 2022:

14, 299 souls gathered in the capital’s Zócalo on July 18, 2022 to make history.

On that occasion, representatives of the Guinness World Record were present to sign a certificate that the record had been broken.

At 08:00 am this unprecedented event began, which was taught by boxing celebrities such as Andy Ruiz, Mariana “Barbie” Juarez, Alan “Rey” Picasso, Oscar Váldez, among others.

Months after the class, the then Head of Government of Mexico City, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, held a Ceremony of Recognition to the best of the sport where she awarded a recognition to the WBC, received by Federico Enriquez.
