Mexico vs. Philippines Oktober Fiesta

During the traditional “Coffee Tuesdays,” the fight card for October 12 in Hermosillo, Sonora was presented, a veritable Ring War between Mexico and the Philippines promises to be a knockout war starring  Jay Raquinel and Yahir Frank, where the WBC silver title in the super flyweight division will be at stake.

Jay Raquinel, who traveled all the way from the Philippines to be able to seize this great opportunity, says it`s a great  and extraordinary honor for him to be able to come to Mexico and fight for a title from the most important organization the WBC.

He commented that he is doing an intense, thorough and comprehensive  preparation because he knows the power of the Mexicans and above all the great demands of the fans, so the preparation must be of the highest order, level and refined quality.

And  Yahir Frank stressed that eversince he was a child he has dreamed of becoming world champion and being a worthy representative of the best organization, the WBC, so this coming October 12, the state of Sonora will witness his coronation.

The event will be broadcast by the Japanese television station Abema TV, who are just entering Mexican territory and promises to be the window for new talents, as expressed by Yuji Kitano, executive producer and Akita Sakata CEO of Next Innovation INC, who greeted the gathering with a lusty: ”Viva Mexico.”

Rafael Soto, who came representing Zanfer, expressed his gratitude to the Filipino and Japanese delegations who did not hesitate to come here  and be part of this conference, to the WBC for the support they have always received and to all those who in one way or another have made this event a tangible reality.

Finally, he urged everyone present not to miss this great fight because both boxers guarantee of a great and so memorable show. He even ventured to say that it is possible that the fight will end before the twelve rounds because both fighters want to go home with the Green and Gold Belt, demonstrating the most explosive power.
