Psychology in boxing goes beyond the execution of an attack or counterattack parrying and countermanding diverse styles via technique discipline and training reinforced by a rigorous diet plan.
It means confidence possession in decision-making, clear and objective thinking, being able to master and answer internal voices that may demotivate, having the ability to resume past successes. Forget about poor performance and know how to overcome this by regaining concentration in training and crucially, have a winning mentality to get into the ring in the best technical/tactical and psychological physical version possible.
Mental preparation must be a prime element of training, so that the boxer can improve performance, adapted it to needs as must, strengthening the boxer to visualize success, creating strategies to help throughout the training process day by day, in a climate of passion, discipline and harmony, towards obtaining better results when it comes to competition.
Promoting mental health in boxers and trainers make all the difference in search of better results, making boxing a safer sport supported by science applied to sports, protecting the integrity of the fighters at all times.
