In this fight, the ABU welterweight title, affiliated with the World Boxing Council, will be at stake.
Mbenge is coming off a close decision victory in Germany to Sebastian Formella. For his part, Kuvesa Katembo, comes from getting a draw against the experienced Ghanaian fighter Obodai Sai.
This Friday the official weigh-in took place, both reporting 147 pounds. The match supervisor will be Dr. Peter Ngatane.
