May NOT- Taylor vs Serrano II postponed

The second fabled chapter of Katie Taylor Vs Amanda Serrano, has been put back, due to injury.

A temporary, but considerable disappointment because their blisteringly brilliant and intense classic, was 2022 Women`s Fight of the Year.

An injury suffered by Champion Amanda Serrano, The Pride of Puerto Rico, means we will have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated re-match against Irish Illuminator and also champion Katie Taylor. The two were preparing to clash on May 20 in Dublin, Ireland, but this won`t happen then.

“Due to an injury sustained by Amanda Serrano, Matchroom Boxing and Most Valuable Promotions regret to announce that the May 20 Taylor-Serrano II fight in Dublin will not take place as planned,” Matchroom Boxing announced in a brief statement, adding: “The teams are in talks to find a date for the fight. More details will be released soon.”
Last year Taylor outpointed Serrano via a thrilling split decision in an unforgettable ten-round battle at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
