Mauricio Sulaiman today receives the 2020 National Sports Award

The President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, will be honored this afternoon with the 2020 National Sports Award, by Mexico´s President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Mr. Sulaiman Saldívar was nominee in the category of Protection or Promotion of the Practice of Sports. Due to the efforts he has developed, he will be honored in Campo Marte, in Mexico City.
Other winners in the non-professional category: Softball Selection; Jessica Salazar Balles, Cycling; Yahel Castillo and Juan Celaya, Synchronized Diving. While for professional sports, the following winners were: Renata Zarazúa, Tennis. In Paralympic sport Juan Diego García, Taekwondo. In the Coaches category: Diankov Stefan and Jesús Salvador González.
Referee, Lucila Venegas Montes was awarded. Likewise, Fernando Valenzuela’s outstanding career in Mexican sports was recognized.
