Yesterday, the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimán attended to the prestigious Universidad Anáhuac North Campus with the intention chatting with students regarding the need and importance of promoting daily professional and personal balance.
The presentatios was directed to Psychology, Medicine, Administration, Sports Management students, among others.
The WBC President kicked off his presentation by describing the foundations of the sport. He recalled boxing legends, great moments, characters and emphatically pointed out how commitment, discipline and sacrifices helped them to achieve glory.
Mauricio commented that life itself can be considered as a boxing analogy and that there are several similarities and moments that we can face as if we were in a boxing match to try to achieve professional and personal balance.
Osvaldo “Chucky” Razón, a professional fighter, accompanied Mauricio Sulaimán. He talked about the day to day of a boxer, as well as the values, discipline, hard work and commitment that are required to succeed in this sport.
He also commented on the mistakes that can be made along the way, but above all, the serious consequences that can exist when making a bad decision.
