World Boxing Council featherweight champion Mark Magsayo (24-0, 16 Ko’s), will face undefeated former world champion, Rey Vargas, on July 9.

This highly anticipated fight presented by Premier Boxing Champions will take place at the Alamodome in Texas, and top the bill.

Magsayo won the WBC crown by dethroning world champion Gary Russell Jr. by majority decision in Atlantic City, New Jersey last January in a great fight.

Mark, who is preparing, brilliantly guided by the legendary Freddie Roach, is undergoing a grueling training camp, because he knows the quality and experience of his rival.

Vargas has already reigned in the super bantamweight division, he is undefeated in 35 fights with 22 knockouts and comes to this fight after defeating Leonardo Baez by wide decision.
