Mark Magsayo and Jorge Mata compete for the WBC Continental Americas title

 The fight starring Barrios and Pacquiao is gathering momentum, as  Sean Gibbons, Knuckleheads Boxing Supremo and director of operations for Manny Pacquiao Promotions, confirmed the fight between the Filipino and the Mexican is a GO!

At stake is the WBC Continental Americas super featherweight belt. 

Magsayo is an old acquaintance of the WBC. In 2022, he became the WBC featherweight world champion after defeating Gary Allen Russell by majority decision. 

Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo has a record of 27-2, 18 KOs. 

Jorge “Kan” Cuellar has a record of 21-2-2 and 13 KOs.
