Pioneer of women’s boxing and former world champion Mariana Juárez returned to her boxing family after the great participation she had in a Mexican TV reality show.
Mariana spoke of the great experience of this show and although she assured that it was one of the most difficult things she has ever done, she was clear in saying that it was also a time to rebuild and rethink her goals.
She conceded that after her departure, she was seized by a feeling of sadness because she realized that many people recognized her for her participation in the reality show than for her 25-year career in boxing, but it was precisely her daughter who gave her a great lesson because when she expressed her feelings, Natasha told her: Mom, if it were not for the career you have made as a boxer and all your achievements, you would not have entered the house of celebrities.
Mariana opened up to the press and confided that during her stay at the house she went through many episodes of anxiety and stress because she knew that she was representing boxing; however, she said she was satisfied with what she achieved inside the house and especially that people knew the other side of Mariana.
Regarding her next plans, Mariana stated she has not retired yet, since she considers that 25 years of career deserve a great farewell, for which she hopes to do three or four more fights, a fight with the new bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund, who claims he has something that is Her’s: The Green and Gold Belt!
